The 4th Of July (All caught up!)

This was the moon that night it was a crescent and really red.

The day started with a BBQ that was almost rained out. There was a huge down poor, our neighbor's basement started flooding and so a lot of us went out side to scoop water away from their home. Then we sat down and watched "The Biggest Show In Idaho", which I doubt it is but it looked really good from our backyard. You could still feel the booms and smell the powder. Then when the show was over the whole field that's next to our house lit up because everyone was packed in there like a big parking lot started to go home. The show ended at 10:25 and everyone was gone by 11:00, not bad. Better than going to the fair grounds and waiting more than 2 hours to get out. This is the picture of all the red tail lights of everyone leaving the fair grounds not moving at all...lol.

Then we started our fireworks.

The boys liked these the best.

They had a lot of fun, Kylie only made it half way through the big show and then fell asleep, so I put her in bed. However she loved the fireworks and was so excited and smiling and talking the way she does.

It was a good fourth! We'll be at our house next year too!

Sprinkler Party

Chad really wanted a sprinkler party so when we had our friends over for dinner we told them in advance that sprinklers were going to be the entertainment.

The kids were so happy.

Their kids loved it to.

The adults got into the action too, it was a fun Sprinkler Party!

Traveling

We traveled a lot these couple of months, this is Chad after the air conditioning got to be to much for him.

Playing at the mall in Salt Lake.

Lots of fun.

Chad's Snake

Chad came running inside and told me there was a snake by the swing set and he wanted it. We had just given him a talk about not picking up snakes or bugs without asking us if they were friendly. So I ran outside and did not know if this was a friendly snake. So I caught it in a bucket. Then after researching the snake came out of it's bucket. This is a Gopher, Bull or Blow snake all names for the same thing you can tell it's not a rattle snake especially by his eyes(just in case you want to stare one down). It stayed with us for 2 days, the snakes family missed him to much!

Chad named him Flicker, cuz "mom he flicks his tongue to smell you".

More pictures of Mr. Chad first bike ride without training wheels.

Look at that concentration.

Stuff

Chad's kindergarten class had marble works which the boys loved! When I told them I had some, it was a constant hounding after that, so when I finally found them, this is what they did.

I did have to adjust some stuff and add a piece here and there but they are really GOOD builders.

Kylie after eating something colorful, and sticky...lol.

Chad posing with his little sister.

Fun at the Fire Station

We went to the fire Station because they had an open house. There were tons of kids and to keep track of my three all by myself was kinda hard but we all had fun.

Brian did not want to dress up but thought Chad was pretty cool. Then they ran through a mock house on fire they had a smoke machine to fill up the house "trailer" and made all the kids crawl out under the smoke. Chad told me all about it.

They got their balloons and got to see Sparky.

Everyone in their hats.

Exploring the fire truck.

Then when dad got home he had to be styling with the hat. I have some handsome boys!

To Hold You Over

So not much happened in June, I had my birthday, here's the crew.

Kylie standing, walking around begging for cake.

Brian learned how to pump the swing by himself and now can start by himself too.

Chad learned to ride his bike without training wheels. All on my birthday, so I had WONDERFUL birthday presents!

This is a picture of the kids playing. So cute.
