Starting Them Young

So it was Brian's turn to go golfing with daddy. As you can see he already knows how to keep score. He had a blast.

Daddy forgot to bring the little golf clubs along so poor Brian had to hit with dad's HUGE clubs. He's a trooper!

Blessings

I thought this was cute Daddy sleeping with his boys, even though Brian is a light sleeper and woke up when I came in with the camera.

Well I decided to make some shoes to donate to Babysteps since the one pair I gave them the night I taught sold for 200 points by the very next person. So I took these to them and when I was pulling them out the volunteer that has been there was leaving and she wanted to buy a pair from me. I told her I had no idea how much they cost. Everyone said in the stores if they are not Robbie's(which are $30 and higher) are like $12-$15. So I told her $10, she gave me $15 and said I did a good job on them. So it payed for all the material and stuff I used to make them. Just another example of heavenly father's blessings if you are helping others.

Oh! The Motorcycle

Well Chad loves riding the motorcycle even though he says he likes the scooter better, ha ha. Well Me and Brian always go out and watch Chad and Daddy ride, and Brian always wants to get on. Well this was his first experience in riding the motorcycle.

He absolutely loved it.

Trent only let him ride for a short time because he knew once the motorcycle got hot his feet dangle right where they would be burned, even though Brian wanted to go longer.

So it's Chad's turn now and I brought Brian inside because he really wanted to get back on that motorcycle, and even chased after them when they left. This is how much Brian loves the motorcycle. Oh that motorcycle...lol.

"Left arm...broken!"

Well Chad has had stitches and Brian, well we thought he was more mellow than his brother, but he's the first to have a cast. Although he was very good about all of it and he didn't even cry. He doesn't like it much but when we went to the hospital they were having a kids day. Maybe that's why he was distracted.

We first came in and these clowns were making balloon animals for everyone.

They also had a little station to see how good you wash your hands right next to administration that Chad decided to go do with daddy. They put lotion on your hands and put them under ultraviolet light and then have you wash and come back to see how you did. Come to find out Chad is a very good hand washer. He must take after his dad =)

Chad giving his monkey a piggy back ride.

And now I have to come clean with my story, it was the Teddy Bear clinic at the hospital, and the kids loved it. Chad's monkey got a broken leg because he told the nurse that he was jumping on the bed and fell off. Brian's puppy well we don't really know how he broke his arm but Brian kept pointing at his arm and saying "hurt, hurt, hurt".

Then we went and had chocolate milk and teddy grahams for a treat.

So they had a lot of fun and when we came home Brian pulled off the cast on puppy and so we put it on him. Then Chad got tired of his monkey resting and tore the cast off of him in pieces. I don't know how he did it but if Chad ever has to have a cast I'm worried that it wont stay on.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well I taught a class of how to make those little shoes to Baby Steps. I was so surprised when they asked me and then I was surprised to see 20+ people there. The class is NEVER that big and that's one of the reasons I had agreed is because it would be small, boy was I wrong! But it all went very well and they took these pictures of me teaching so I thought I better show my sisters (look I'm Sewing!!)

The end product.

And this is the corsage that I made today for Garrett's date to Prom (Trent's cousin). Her dress is the turquoise color, with leopard print. I thought the crazy fern would go good with that.

Primary activity

So the boys had a primary activity that they loved. We got to go play at Randy's gym. Brian loved doing his tricks on the trampoline run, and running up and down it jumping the whole way.

Brian being tossed into the foam pit. While Chad watches in anticipation.

Mom just chilling watching her boys go crazy.

Brian winning over all the girls so he could jump too, they were all like little mommies to him, they loved it and so did he.

Chad turn to be thrown into the foam pit.

Beauty

This is Chad's flower that he picked out at the Earth Day Event. It was just a couple leafs when he got it, and now it is beautiful he watered it everyday, and makes sure to remind me, he likes watering the garden to so hopefully it does as good as his flower.

Why is mom tired?

Oh ya it must be all the messes we get to pick up during the day when we are trying to do something else like cook, laundry, or dishes. It's amazing what one little bag of popcorn will do.

Both Chad and Brian love to watch their cousins on the blog.

Yummy, what great helpers I have.

Feeding the ducks on one of our evening strolls.

We got the kids a swing set awhile ago, it is a lifesaver! I love it, I got the garden ready to plant, I mowed the lawn, I picked the weeds, I planted the garden, all because of this wonderful investment!

Just Chad having fun =)
