Earth Day!

So I had an appointment to go in and do a non-stress test on baby and an ultasound because we were scheduled for inducment on Monday the 26th at 4:00am. They just wanted to make sure everything was ok with baby. Well after a lot of mixed, and confusing results they decided that baby was still at risk and we needed to jump start having a baby. Trent thought it would be fun to take pictures of me during my contractions. (WASN'T FUN!) So I was at a 4cm at 5:00pm, then at 5:20pm I decided I had enough pain and wanted an epidural. Trent said "ok, we'll wait till the nurse comes back and tell her". I said "NO, I want one NOW." His mother went to tell the nurse, (I'm glad she understood). Then everything kinda went fast the anesthesiologist came in. I was at 6cm, so they started putting in the epidural. Then when she was trying to get things taped down I felt I needed to push. All of them started to yell and say DON'T PUSH. She got it taped said well it probably wont help and pushed in a little syringe of medicine. She was right whether i wanted to have birth naturally or not, I DID.(Guess I had to go green...lol) Kylie came and then while the clean up was in progress my legs went numb, good timing huh? lol

After 3 contractions Kylie was here, 8lbs 2oz, 21 inches long at 5:48pm. It was funny because Trent was so stressed coming to the hospital, but as he passed the University he realized wait, "I don't have homework, tests, nothing." He said it was like everything lifted and he didn't have to worry anymore.

Chad loves his little sister A LOT!! If you want a turn holding baby make sure he's not around, or be prepared to fight. What a handsome.

Me right after delivery, super happy contractions are over and Kylie is here.

Brian really didn't know what to think about baby sister but was making sure mommy was ok. What a cute boy.

Finally home, here is Miss Kylie.

She is a good baby, she doesn't cry very much even though she is still starving.

So cute! I can't believe how blessed we are, we must be doing something right.

It's fun to hear everyone say who they think she looks like, the results are really mixed. I think Katie got it right on the nose when she said "she looks like a Murray". We are so happy with our beautiful family.

We love you Kylie!!

MICHAEL BOLTON!!!!

So the story begins with how much Trent wanted to go to Michael Bolton and how much the tickets cost. (I said NO WAY!) Well my mother wanted to go also, and found a drawing and put me and herself in. (Even though she knew she wouldn't be able to go because of work.) Well as luck has it, I WON!!! (At least this time I didn't have to crawl through a window at 8 month pregnant, like I did for Peter Cetera....lol.) Thank you mom!!!

We sat on the front row, right behind the pit. Trent was excited we were so close and he could stretch his legs.

This is how the show began it was pretty cool. Our poor camera was overwhelmed with how loud it was so you'll have to bear with it, it's really loud when your in the front row.

Here are some of the pictures we took, believe me it's only some, I took a lot. When am I ever going to get this close again?

Just sitting in the seat you could feel your jeans or pants vibrating because of how loud it was.

Then this song he was right in the middle of the audience, pretty cool.

Some video of the middle performance.

I had a lot of contractions during the show and was just thinking, No not now! She was also moving like crazy the whole time, she probably felt the vibrations too.

Look how CLOSE we are!!!

Another little video of Michael Bolton, which they told us at the second to last song that we were not suppose to take video...oops. =)
See how close!

It was an awesome concert!

Ok so did I mention that we also won backstage meet and greet passes!!!!! We did have to wait awhile till everyone left the building and it was SAFE! Then they took us for a walk, there were people trying to jump in our group and the security was getting rid of them. (They didn't have "the pass".) Then they put us in the basement in like a storage room, everyone was saying how this was like a scary movie and we were going to be dinner for some sort of creature. Then Michael Bolton's manager came and told us all that he was only going to take 2 pictures (a camera guy was there that would take the pictures) with 2 or more people at a time. He wasn't there to sign anything or to be interviewed so NO TALKING TO HIM!

So I still handed my camera off to someone else to take pictures for me while the other guy did. Michael Bolton didn't say much to anyone but he did talked to us he asked when I was due and what number this was. When I said 6 days he gave me this face like whoa and you're here? It was funny plus he gave a squeeze to my shoulder. He congratulated us and told us he also had 3 kids. That they are the best but will keep you busy! He started thanking us for taking the time to come to his concert, then the manager guy came, cut him off, said he's done and started to direct him away. It was a surreal experience!!

Soccer!!

So we signed Chad up for soccer. After one practice I was kind of worried about how he would play. He did very well.

My happy boy, so proud of the grass stains on his knees.

First injury, twisted ankle, he walked it off on the sidelines, then was good to be put in again.

Go Dragons!

He had a couple of hiccups but over all was pretty good.

One of the good plays.

So there was a kid on the yellow team that was pushing everyone, even his own teammates. I guess Chad had enough of him. Anyway they lost the first game we'll see about next week.

Easter

So the kids had a lot of fun this year for Easter. Cousin's came down and they all had a blast. Things started Friday at the VA Center. Katie Belle came but she was in the older age group.

Then Saturday we were going to the Ross Park Easter egg hunt with Sadie and Luke since they missed out the day before. As you can see with the snow on the ground the Ross Park people were whimps and they canceled that one so we zoomed over to the Caldwell hunt and got there just in time to hear the horn blow. We unloaded kids from the car and told them to RUN!!

The kids still got a ton of eggs.

It was super windy, really cold, but the kids were happy with their stash.

Then that afternoon we held the Grandpa & Grandma Rawson Backyard egg hunt, with special prizes. Brian had to wear grandpa's motorcycle helmet the whole time. Funny kid.
They all had so much fun playing together, it's really nice to have family around.
