A Bed For Princess

Kylie has been climbing out of her crib all by herself now for a week. We were talking about putting up her new big girl bed. This bed was Grandma Murray's bed when she was little and just beautiful.
While we had evacuee's at our house they decided to help put up the bed. Kylie loves it! This girl doesn't know how lucky she is.
This is truely a princesses bed!

To close for comfort

This is the BIG fire we had that so many people lost their homes and so many others worried and were evacuated from theirs. This was the very first sight I saw. I couldn't believe my eyes!
It looked like the whole entire valley and mountain were just gone.
The teeny tiny airplanes (which are not so teeny tiny) trying to help fight the fire.
Our house with "wall to wall, beds". Those who braved to sleep down stairs had to share it with the cat who was also evacuated from home. Just happy our family was blessed and they are all ok with their homes.

What's in a face?

We were playing around with the camera and just being silly but I thought I'd share these pictures. They turned out good.
Chad combed his own hair this way and was ready for church. He is getting so big and such a handsome boy!
Brian being his handsome little self.
Little miss turning on her charm.
Had to put this one up. This is what happens when you say "kisses?"
This is Kylie's picture she took of me, it turned out pretty good too. Daddy said all these pictures where way to close for his comfort level so we'll get him next time or in his sleep!

Tired of fun?

Today was planned for a lot of fun. I mean A LOT of fun. Trent went to the Boy Scout day camp so we were on our own. This is our morning breakfast with the Kiwanis club.
Chad had 2 pancakes! The are the size of the plate. Me and Kylie shared 2 pancakes and didn't even finish. Brian ate a whole pancake too. Boys really do pack it down.
Jumping in the jumpy house for a bit before our next stop.
Then out to Airport Appreciation Day. Chad is holding one of the bullets used in the fighter plane. They had all the airplanes we saw at the air show lined up on the ground, so I will not post picture of those since I already did before.
A plane that fits!
This plane actually works, not just good for pictures.
See we are having fun!
The air force had a football throwing contest. Chad got all 3 in the target hole so he could pick ANYTHING in the tent. They had towels, hats, shoe bags, water bottles, shirts, well he picked tattoo's (which you get when you don't get anything in the holes...lol). So Mom got a backpack, hahaha kids are funny.
Our private jet.
Then over to the army.
They told the kids no smiling that they had to show their army faces.
HAHAHA, love this army face!
Then Chad got to climb the wall, he was tall enough Brian was not. Other kids struggled but not my monkey he zipped right up and even another boy said "he's so small, how did he do that?"...lol
Then they got the exclusive ambulance tour because they kept asking the guys so many questions. Nobody else got to sit in the front seat, but they did. Where they continued to ask even more questions...poor guys. They told me I had super smart kids and that they had awesome personality. I was thinking more like motor mouths that smiled at the same time.
Then we stopped in the booth area. Made home depot helicopters, pledged to not text and drive, ate cookies, candy and Costco was giving out free creamies. Got footballs,Frisbee's, pens, pins, coins, rings, and posters. But we weren't done yet!
We then went to the Family Fun Day. Where we met up with our daddy. As soon as I got parked in the madness. A lady from the journal took our picture, so we'll see if we get in the newspaper. We stopped at the Pizza pie cafe booth and made out like bandits, we won coupons for $2 off, 2 free drinks, and 2 $5 gift cards. On with the fun!
The kids loved the hula-hoop contest. they didn't win but sure had fun. They were fun to watch just see what I mean.
We saw and took our picture with life flight at the airport. It beat us here, but it was cool to see it take off to go somewhere else. We got free kettle corn, cotton candy, bounce balls, and more stuff then we knew what to do with. Let's see what's next.
Here is Mr. Portneuf Greenway frog, how fun is that?
Shh the storm troopers might be around that corner!
After family fun day, we had to rush Chad to Grace's birthday party. Kylie took a power nap, then we picked up Chad and were off to the Simplot Union Picinic. Where they played in jumpy houses, a huge jumpy slide, swang and got candy from the candy cannon. Not to mention the all you could eat steak,(with onions and mushrooms) hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, salads and all the fixings any heart could desire! Man today was a fun day. It started at 8:30 ended at 7:30pm, time for bed. I'm tired!

Baseball-Brian

Today was Brian's first time playing baseball. His team has a lot more kids than Chad's. So proud of my little guy, he threw the ball to first base to get the first 3 outs for his team.
He was paying attention pretty good.
 Throw it!
 Nice throw!
Here the batter came to get her own ball...lol.
Waiting to bat, in the dugout with his friend. They were so happy they were on the same team. Go sharks!
Up to bat, testing it out.
 Here we go!
 Nice hit!
 Waiting at second base.
 Bored at third base....hahaha.
 You made it home!!!
Brian did Awesome!!
During the game there was a fire.
This is Kylie's friend so they go hang out together.
 Two cute little girls.
Attack the big brothers who are also playing together. It's fun to have friends!

Baseball-Chad

We have put the boys in soccer but this was the very first time we signed them up for baseball. Both of the boys love sports and do pretty good in all of them.

Chad had his first game today, only 4 of their team showed up but they did super good!
 Hanging out on first base.
That was a good hit, can you tell...lol. Don't stare at it! Run, Chad run!
 Running.
Chad's batting is awesome. One of his swings hit a boy dead center in his stomach, he did not catch it but curled up in a ball instead. I felt bad for the poor guy, but he was ok a little later.
 Go, go, go!
 Run home!
 Safe!
Hanging out waiting for the ball to come his way.
 Nice throw.
After the first inning they stuck him at 1st base the rest of the game, he did wonderful!
Good game Chad!
