School Halloween Party

So this is Chad's first school event. I think I was more excited then he was.

He couldn't have his sword with him at school because it's a "weapon", so hopefully you guessed he is Luke Skywalker.

Then they all got back to the classroom. The party started, they decorated cookies, made popcorn ghoul hands, pin the nose on the pumpkin, candy toss, bingo,

and making lollipop ghosts. Chad was totally in his element loving every minute of it.

So more than just the house has been going on but it all gets meshed together. Here is just a super cute picture of Kylie and here favorite unicorn.

Continued House

So here is a picture I thought fit well with the occasion.

So taping and texture was what happened last week.

Oh and we now have a porch.

and cement in the garage.

The texture guys, see the one almost falling. I snapped the picture just as he started to fall, but he didn't hit the floor so he was ok. Good thing stilt man wasn't next to him or they would have both went down.

So we have our porch column done too. It's coming right along.

Update

So this was the electrician getting everything ready.

Plug-ins galore!

The insulation....done.

As you can see almost missed this step because sheet rock was being brought in.

Sheet rock coming in, and they started putting shingles on the roof.

So this morning we have this.

Sheet rock...done.

The tape and texture guys were there getting ready, so we'll see what's next.

The Number 9

So Chad was drawing a picture and wanted to draw a number 9 and asked what it looked like. I said "like an upside down 6". He said "oh ya" and drew it.

After I got done cooking, I told him he did very good but that mommy makes her 9's like this and drew it in the corner. He laughed drew his 9 next to mine and said "yours is an upper case 9, mine is lower case". Lol can you tell what he's learning about in school?

Look at this cute picture!! When do I ever get a picture of them smiling let alone ALL together!!

Since I had to post that cute picture then I decided to update what's going on. Well they got all the windows in and plumbed for the shower and bathtub. I think the furnace guy was there doing the duct work, he was really loud.

They have started the roof.

True Happiness

So Brian got new sheets for his Birthday, he is SOOO happy can you tell?

He also got a comforter, super excited.

He wanted to test them out.

So this is true happiness when a little boy wants to go to bed at 11:00am...lol.

They finished it at 3pm so we heard from one of the neighbors.

New House - All in a Days Work

So I got a phone call this morning at 9am saying the framer was framing our house today and that he's the same one that did the Extreme Makeover house so he's super fast and I might want to check it out today or I might miss the framing process for my scrapbook. So they got there at 7am and these pictures are at 9:30ish. Basement already done.

Here they are already working on the floor.

This is after the first session of conference, walls already going up.

And this is after 2nd session of conference!! It's looking like a house!

I can't believe how fast they did this.

The inside is done, hole cut for stairs and everything it's totally taking shape. I guess tomorrow they really finish all the framing and then on to the next step.
