The Present

Ok so Chad made out like a bandit! Chad got a special "Birthday" price from aunt Amy on his DS. So then he had enough money to buy 2 games (pokemon black & plants vs. zombies), a DS case with 4 styluses, screen protectors and wipe. Then he bought himself a kitkat because he could and still had $25 left over to start saving for his kirby game he wants.
Brian has thrown many fits about how Chad has stuff and he doesn't, he does not yet understand Chad bought it himself. He does still like to watch him play the games.
Had to take this picture with everyone, and how Kylie is even playing a gameboy.

Happy Birthday Chad!

Chad turned 7 today! I can't believe how much this boy has grown. This morning we gave Chad a couple of small gifts. He was really excited to get his own uno game, hahaha. Also a laser that makes 12 different pictures, we told him the rest of his present was to help him with buying the gameboy DS he has been saving for. We told him he needed to get at least half and we would help with the other.
After church we went to Great Grandma Murray's house to party. Chad told me this year he did not want a cake he wanted german chocolate cupcakes with chocolate chips inside and raspberry icing. So that's what we made.
Everyone singing happy Birthday to him, he was sooo happy.
Well I think his wish came true! Thanks to everyone for their presents and for calling him on his special day. He now has more than enough money for his DS and couldn't stop talking about it. I know he will be dreaming about it too.

Oops

So I was putting away the baseball pictures when I found the soccer pictures that I never shared.
 Mr. Chad
His team gave him an action shot that they caught during a game.
 The Team.
 Cute Brian.
 His team minus one.
Soccer was fun, baseball is over, so we'll be back soon.

24th of July Parade

Waiting for the parade to start.
 What cute boys.
Then the rest of the gang arrived.
 Respecting the flag...aw so cute!
The cop cars and fire engines were a little loud.
Chad getting ready to grab candy.
Benny the Bengal posing for the kids.
That was so cool, did you see it?
Kylie tried stuffing everything in her mouth as soon as she got it...lol.
Begging for candy. They had the screaming down and everything.
Kylie learned very quick, candy is a great motivator.
Thanks to the pioneers and all their sacrifices so we can have what we have today!

Quarantined

So when your kids get Hand, Foot, Mouth disease it's not fun! They hurt and you get quarantined from all other kids for what seems like forever! This is Brian's throat and tonsils, at first everyone thought they had Strep throat, we weren't so lucky!
Luckily it did rain a lot so we weren't tempted to go out and play with other kids.
We also ate a lot of pudding!
It kind of hides the blister sores that Kylie had around her mouth. When you wiped her face off she looked the same.
We found out that birds really like our little tree, so we watched them.
We also saw all the freeway action behind the house. When we were out swinging and playing in the yard.
Chad got one of his Birthday presents early so he used it a lot in 2 days and turned himself BLUE! He had an evening shadow that was blue and blue hair from the hair gel. He was SO happy...hahaha.
Daddy played Uno, and It Came to Pass more times then he wanted, I think. They did take breaks to watch Wild Kratts and Road Runner.
They did go golfing, go on hikes, ride bikes, and we went to the zoo (of course we headed the opposite direction when kids came toward us...lol. Good thing there weren't to many that day.) Thank goodness the quarantine is OVER!!!

A Family Affair

Ty and Thip finally had their wedding reception almost a year after they have been married, better late then never.
They held it at the Thai Paradise, it was a VERY warm night.
Tyler getting ready in the traditional dress for a recently married man. This also will not be the last time you get to see his RED face, he got embarrassed a lot.
Cute Chad boy waiting for the chocolate fountain.
Brian making a new friend and then he will disappear the rest of the night.
Kylie did not want to leave Grandpa at all. She was seriously glued!
Trent trying to snag some of my delicious food.
Kylie eating her share (and everyone elses) of Swedish fish.
Tradition! (Can you hear fiddler on the roof voice?)
 Cousin's giving Tyler a hard time...lol.
 Ready to Sumo?
The happy parents of the bride and groom.
Dancing the traditional marriage dance. Tyler was not notified nor did he get to practice. He did well.
Chad said he could do it, it didn't look to hard so he pulled grandma to the dance floor. Grandma was pulled to dance more times later too. I'm so glad my little boy loves to dance! Then the camera battery died, so we didn't get the good pictures of the crazy dancing, karaoke singing, Trent stealing the bride away, and those who never dance actually dancing! It was a fun night but our kids got tired and grumpy so we went home to put them in bed.
