Miracle on Buell St.

Ok so if any of you know our "devil" cat, this is a miracle.

Here is Luna who usually hisses and growls, sitting in my fathers lap. Which he crawled up on his own and then sat and enjoyed the attention. Here's the video proving that he wasn't just there for 2 sec but actually about 15 minutes.

Santa!!!

So we went to visit Santa. Chad was really excited and I think Santa was a little surprised with Mr. Chad. He got on his lap and when Santa asked what do you want for Christmas he said Transformers, toypedo, play dough, etc. etc. Santa said oh the robots that turn into cars and robots again, Chad said yes and began to explain about Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron in detail. Then he asked Santa which was his favorite, Santa laughed and said the same one as you. Good save Santa!

Then it was Brian's turn I didn't know if he would even sit with Santa but he happily did and when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said "That" as he pointed in his bag of goodies for his prize. Easy enough, we love Santa!

The Big Debate

So we had a debate whether we should put up the Christmas tree or not. You see we have a stupid cat that not only thinks he fits in the tree (tips it over every time) but likes to eat the tree and barf everywhere. So we were thinking this year to make a paper tree and tape it to the wall. Well kids won and we have a "real" fake tree, that changes daily, smelling like orange spray to ward of the cat.

Brian calls the reindeer his "doggy's", he will carry them around but puts them back before bed.

So this year we actually got lights up outside. Mainly because Chad said we needed them. Trent and the boys bundled up and got to work, they are so excited for Christmas.

Anniversary

So December 5th was our Anniversary. We can't believe it's been 7 years, time does fly when your having fun. Well this is the first time we actually did something other then just go out to dinner. Trent planned it all, he got Grandma Rawson to take the kids for 3 days and then whisked me away to Salt Lake ( thank you SO MUCH mom). As you can see it was snowing and really cold, but we had TONS of fun.

Ah finally a warm spot.

This was a huge fire it was nice and warm and fun just to sit around.

The lights at temple square are beautiful.

My handsome!

What a nice getaway.

They set up the usual Nativity story by the visitors center, but there is also another Nativity set up around and on the mirror pool.
If you haven't made it down this year, try to plan to, it's worth the trip.

Our Baby

So we are having a baby. I know this is the first time some of you are hearing this, but we did have some misfortune before this one finally stuck. So we didn't want to say anything till we knew for sure. Here is baby, for some reason this little one loves to be in the backwards somersault position.

A closer look at it's cute little face!

And yes...... IT'S A GIRL!!! This is the proof. Trent is SOOOOOO excited to finally have another girl in the family. When the nurse told him it was a girl he did a baby dance right then and there, it was so funny. She is all there 2 legs, 2 arms, and looks to be healthy, although the nurse kept saying how stubborn she was. Which isn't to much of a surprise, she's got to be stubborn with 2 older brothers!

We are so blessed to be able to have another child in our family, her brothers already love her so much. When I got home and told Chad it was a baby girl he said "mommy I'm so happy, because that's what I asked Jesus for!". I think those are daddy's words too...lol. She is due April 19th 2010.

Mail

So this was one of the best days Chad has had. He got mail from his cousin, it made his day. He was so excited, and had to make her something too.

Night Light Parade

Well the same night the Christmas Night Light Parade was Brian got sick, so daddy still took Chad to see it. He found one of his little buddy's, so they hung out and got lots of candy.

Chad told me I needed to put the school bus on, he is so excited to go to school one day.

I guess there were a lot of dogs, which was Chad's favorite part.

Don't forget FROSTY the snowman!.....

and the man himself SANTA!
