Laie Temple (7)

Last time in Honolulu, the Temple was under renovation so we didn't get to do a session.
This time we got to do a session.
We also got to do sealings.
 We loved it.
It was the highlight in the day.
Not to mention it was such a beautiful day.
 My handsome man!
So glad families can be sealed together forever and not just till death.
I am so grateful for Temples!

Polynesian Cultural Center (6)

The last time we came to Oahu we came to the Polynesian Cultural Center too. It is beautiful and you learn about and do cool activities from different cultures.
This is in Samoa, they are fun people. He taught us how to husk a coconut, how to make fire in that husk. How to open a coconut, and how to get the meat of the coconut to make coconut cream or milk.
Then they showed us how to climb a tree and then he was going to jump to the next tree but it was to far away...hahaha.
We went on a canoe ride. Trent loved these fan trees.
 Us by the waterfall.
 The Easter Islands.
Just a cute little seat, love the umbrella.
This is where Elvis Presley sang a song in one of his movies. He was sitting on top of this bent palm tree, strumming his guitar.
Then we went to Tonga, we played a spear game in which Jared creamed us all, even the teacher. Then like before Trent was picked from the audience to as he puts it "make a fool of himself". (He went on a pig hunt the last time) This time he had to follow the drummer. He did a bunch of body slaps and hit his forehead and did there traditional hoot, hauler, yell. So this is Trent following.
He was the only one that stopped when drummer stopped, yup I was proud.
 Yeeha!
Congratulations you passed the test. Video soon to come. Katie captured it ALL!
Us at the Luau dinner. It was so good and I ate pineapple till my tongue was sore.
Waiting for the show to start.
After the show the performers came out so we HAD to get pictures.
The guys said they didn't need one....whatever!
Fun times at the Polynesian Cultural Center!

Totally Awesome Parasailing (5)

We all decided to go parasailing. Oh man it is so SO COOL. We loved it and was totally worth it.

This was our captain and crew mate. We defiantly got the right 2 guys because the other boat out had problems (sunk the people with their shoot). As our captain said "are they still in training or something?"
Yeah! Ready to go.
Hooking us up.
Smile! Thanks to my dad me and my sister smile at camera's BOTH our husbands did not...hahaha.
HERE WE GO!!
Up, Up ......
 and AWAY!
This is us getting dunked in the water, see Trent splashing?

Now you get to see what are view was!
It was super fun.
 It was so cool.
 The view was beautiful!
 The boat was tiny.
Could have stayed up there forever.
All done and we had a BLAST!

Waikiki Beach (Hilton) (4)

We decided to go snorkeling in the water near the Hilton Resort on Waikiki Beach. We came once before just to swim in the water, and play on the beach. Me and Katie got burnt pretty bad, so I recommend sun screen of high spf...lol. We came back again, this time we were prepared. After going to Hanauma Bay it seemed so clear. This is a sea cucumber (sea slug) they were all over and different sizes. Trent almost stepped on this one he was big.
 Some fish.
 Angel fish.
Just the cool reef with fish.
We saw a lot of puffer fish, they never puffed up, but of course I never touched or caught one.
Us in the ocean with Diamond Head behind us.
Me and my super curly ringlet hair. Yup, that's what humidity can do.

Hanauma Bay (3)

So we started our trip to Hanauma Bay by eating these little things. I just remember they were called Bubbles (brand name)...lol. Anyway they were finger ice cream. They had a little dry jelly like casing and ice cream in the middle they were really good but the fruit flavors were the best.
Headed down to the bay.
The water was super murky when we went, but you could still see fish.
If I was cool I would tell you the names of the fish...this one is Billy.
 Don't forget Bob.
This is the sea turtle we saw (I guess you don't always get to see them), he scared me at first because when I looked up he was staring at me eye ball to mask. After drinking some ocean water, I called to everyone else so they could see him too.
Here we are fighting the waves. My sister does NOT like salt water.
Wave fighting up close. We left thinking Hanauma Bay was pretty great just wished it wasn't so murky.
