SNOW!!!

It snowed during the night, and this morning we were all woken up because Chad was running around the house so super excited yelling, "IT SNOWED! IT SNOWED! Look out your window!"
 Our snowy little neighborhood.
Chad all ready for school, lol um why was he excited when he doesn't like to be cold? Because he is silly.
Then we had to get everyone else ready too, we all had to go out. (mom was very reluctant)
Brian playing with his new toy. He has been waiting for it to snow, so he could try it out.
 Having fun in the snow.
 Making it snow more...lol.
She learned snow is cold, and then she wanted gloves. Smart girl!
We had fun! How about you?

A Little Off The Top

So Kylie's hair does not grow very fast but she does have some crazy long strands. I decided to trim a little of it up so that most of it is even with her other shorter hair.
Kylie's hair BEFORE
Kylie's hair AFTER, okay, yes I know after I did it that maybe I should have waited a little bit longer, since it's still a little short...lol. My family should remember when I cut my own bangs in junior high, yup well the streak continues...lol. Still such a cute girl!

Walking Home

So I have now started to allow Chad to walk home by himself most days (because Trent said too...lol). Trent has a lot of fun memories of walking home and didn't want to deny his child those, but Chad doesn't look like he's having fun...hahaha. Come on Chad show us how you really feel!
Yup, that's right then he saw his momma and he began to run home. How I love this sweet boy!

More Brian Birthday Pics

Here are the pictures I have been waiting for. Brian was so happy with his remote control car.
Yup it did as it said, it went in water and everywhere else. This is why Brian can't wait for snow.
As everyone had their own turn playing with Brian's car he decided to play in the water too.
Till he fell in...lol. He was not a happy camper. But after getting out of the water he began attacking people with hugs and then he was happy once again. He had a great Birthday.

Syringa Fun Run 2012

Syringa held it's annual fun run today and the 2nd graders ran a mile. Trent was going to run with him but wasn't here yet.
He made it just in time ....here he is catching up to Chad.
 After the first lap...looking good!
Headed to the finish line...look at the determination! I thought this picture was awesome! Like father, like son, they are running exactly the same...lol.

A couple things

Brian finally figured out what he wanted to be for Halloween. When he told me, I said, but he has a beard, so this was our trial one HAHAHA, he is so cute but when he saw it he said "no, let's pretend he shaved"...lol.
A very cold morning and our sprinklers iced everything.
Kylie thought it was pretty cool too.
General Conference weekend we have a tradition of making a good breakfast and watching conference. I thought I would make pancakes the pinterest way. One recipe said if you put pancake batter into a muffin tin it would crater and then you could put the filling in the middle, nope you just get pancake muffins, so this is what we did instead.

Brian Turn's 5!!

So I asked Brian what he wanted to do for his birthday this year and he said, "I want everyone to come to my house have cake and ice cream, and have one of those hats". So that's what we told everyone. Trent's side of the family were all going out of town on Brian's birthday. So they had a surprise party per say on Sunday. Since I did not know the surprise, I didn't have my camera and I have been waiting for them to send me pictures which were really good! I still haven't got them, and before anyone starts complaining that my blogging skills are lacking I decided to post Brian's birthday without the pictures...lol. Here is Brian opening presents.
He was SO EXTREMELY happy with EVERY thing he got.
He got 2 cars that he LOVES, spiderman and a remote controlled one that goes EVERYWHERE, on dirt, grass, gravel, water, and snow. Now he is waiting for the snow to try out his new car...hahaha.
I can not believe he is 5! Where did the time go? Well "small fry Bri", you are not that small anymore. I guess we'll have to call you "Bri guy" now.
Hope all your birthday wishes came true, love you so much!
