New Addition to the Family

So I had to do some catch up on the blog because I needed to get our BIG news posted.

Ok, so it's not a new baby (yet), but it's still a baby of sorts. We have been saving, but pretty much figured we would cram our boys and new baby in the back of my car which we knew they would fit (but SUPER tight). We thought by the time we saved enough, that all kids would probably be out of their car seats and in booster chairs. Well we were wrong, Trent's parents decided to offer their car to us, at a price in our range and that we couldn't say no to. I still can't believe it, it's like a dream, every time I drive it somewhere I'm telling myself this is our car, it's ours. I can't put into words how grateful I am for the generosity of Trent's parents, they have put one of our biggest stresses to rest. Thank you SO MUCH!!

Oh and Trent and the boys well they are super excited to. Trent is like a little kid again, he always tells me to drive it even though I know he wants to. It's like a Christmas present he gets to open again and again. Chad loves the new car and if we let him, he would be climbing everywhere. He keeps saying how now his friends and cousins can ride with HIM. Brian wants to show everyone his "big car" and doesn't want to get out of it every time we go do an errand. Brian would sleep in it all night if we let him and he's super happy about all the "sippy" holders it has. It's a perfect car for our soon to be MURRAY CLAN!

Fish, Haircuts and Cookies

So we only had one sad goldfish in our tank, we then bought 2 more goldfish and a plecoctomus. Well the plecoctomus and one of the new goldfish died, very sad day for the boys. Amy then came home with Mollys and a new plecoctomus, the boys were super happy!

Even after Amy's biceps wore out from holding Brian, they still wanted to stare in the fish tank, so we rigged this very unsafe way to watch them. They watched those fish for a very long time.

So Chad made me take this picture, he had just went through the clothes Luke gave him and this is his very favorite outfit of all time!

I finally got to cutting hair at our house. Everyone including dad was a shaggy dog. Here's Chad and his new cut.

Brian and his short hair.

And this is a very lucky Brian that got the mixer after we made cookies, he got every bit off.

Happy Valentine's Day

So this year for valentine's it was a long weekend so we decided to go visit cousin's in Nampa.

The boys were so excited to see their cousin's.

Brian really liked the drum set. I have to admit the late night beetle band extravaganza's were REALLY fun so now we have to get our own.

We also went to go visit Great Grandpa and Grandma Rawson. Grandpa wasn't feeling to good and was in bed, we did say hi to him before we left.

But Great Grandma made the boys day, she gave them corn pops for the road, I've never seen such happiness.

And this orange car is Mr. Super Bee (he had a decal on the sides so that's how we know). Anyway if you see this car watch out he's a stocker!! When we were headed up to Nampa this car got right on our bumper and then passed us like a flash, later he was on the side of the road. So he then passed us again, we thought that would be the end, but no then he came out of nowhere again and passed us again. So we got to see super bee 3 times on our way to Nampa. If you think our story is done, your WRONG, lol. So we are now headed home and Trent's like you'll never guess who's coming! I was like no way! Yup, super bee, and he did the usual fly up to the bumper and then gun it pass us. For sure we thought we wouldn't see him again but we did. He must have stopped somewhere because he passed us again, then we needed gas which he must have sensed he NEEDED to stop again somewhere because yet again he passed us again. Kinda a weird experience, but one we'll never forget. So watch out for super bee, he's out to pass you!

Be Mine

Trent finally took me to a dance, only after 7 years of marriage. My mother made me this beautiful dress since nothing else fit me anymore. We had SO much fun, hopefully I get to do it again (sooner than later).

Here are the boys making their Valentines, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Mr. Chad.

Brian the scissor boy, that's pretty much all he did the whole time was cut everything into tiny pieces.

After having tiny pieces of paper and glitter EVERYWHERE, these were the end results. Chad did really good.

Sledding

Well we didn't get much snow this year, but then we had a really good snow storm so off we went to play in the snow.

Brian hauling his own sled because he wasn't going to wait.

Alisha, Brian, and Chad starting up the hill.

A couple of video's that we caught before the camera's batteries died. Yes, I even went sledding it was super fun with the boys, they loved it and of course didn't want to stop.

"Bonk" Beds

Well we are starting to get the room ready for when baby sister comes. We moved our file cabinet which Chad climbed into and said he was stuck. Then Daddy built the bunk beds. Chad slept in the bottom one the first night because we thought Brian would still want his crib. Well he actually wanted to be a big boy. So the next night Chad got the top bunk which he realized he can't jump in or his head gets pretty sore from hitting the ceiling. Brian then wanted the top bed too, he wanted whatever Chad had, so convincing him his bed was the bottom one was the hardest part of the whole change.

Both boys slept through the night without any problems at all.

We thought Brian would try to get out of his bed at least a couple times but he stayed all night.

Every night so far has been wonderful we haven't had escapee's or anything, so hurray for the bunk beds.

Christmas 2009

Well we are lucky that we have pictures from this Christmas everything was so exciting and fun all the time that we hardly had a chance to get out the camera. It was one of the best Christmases we had, all the cousins were here and the boys loved every second.

Here is our Christmas morning. Brian and Chad were so happy and excited for everything they received.

Wow binoculars, that Santa is so smart.

Chad was so super fast at taking off wrapping paper it was hard to catch him in the act.

Oh who could it be?

Buzz! He could have been good with just this.

This was one of Daddy's favorite presents. We had one before but it broke, and we put all our change in bags. So to finally have a place to put it again, he was very happy.

Just a little video of the boys in the morning looking through their stockings.
