Happy Birthday Brian!!

So Mr. Brian turned 3!! He was so happy and very excited. He really loved his cake.

Cotton candy hurray!

And his "big motorcycle!" We had to keep telling Chad this is Brian's birthday you had yours, leave his stuff alone...poor guy...lol.

And you can't see it yet but Buzz Lightyear Lego's! He loved all his presents! Even the clothes..lol. Thank you so much Grandma's and Grandpa's you made his day!

New House Continued

So our house is going very fast, if I don't go up one day I miss something but this was all last week. See here they already dug and are pouring the footings.

This was Tuesday.

This is Thursday all the foundation is poured.

foundation....
foundation...

foundation.

And this is Saturday, foundation set, and widow wells in, and they are digging and putting in the main plumbing.

All the tar is on the outside and see the breaker box...lol. So it's going fast.

Fun Times

This is the old steam train that came through town, and right by our house it was neat to see it.

Chad making the train honk.

Brian making the train honk...they were really happy.

So the motorcycle was out of commission for awhile and now it's alive again. Trent is so happy but.........

Brian was happier...he was bouncing up and down, running around in circles, asking me to put his helmet on because "daddy said it's fixed!"

Kylie's new smiles...all tongue, so cute.

HI!!
This was a while back, fun Simplot Days.

Tag

Erin thank you so much for being so sweet! You're awesome but darn you for tagging me! Can I pretend that I never read your blog...lol. Ok, ok, I'll suck it up and answer the questions.
1. Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity? Which one?
Yes, several people have said I look like Sandra Bullock, but this was when I was younger and had longer hair.
2. If you could pick something to be famous for, what would it be? Explain? I think I'd want to be famous for something practical, like curing diseases or cancer, the light bulb, even better, the flashlight..no but wait. I can truly say I'm very grateful to the person who invented toilet paper, whoever you are thanks!
3.Has there ever been a moment in your life that you feel deserves a standing ovation? What was it? Oh many times I feel like taking a bow to all around me...lol. This one particular time was when me and the boys took dad out to lunch to Wendy's well Chad didn't feel so good and barfed on the floor well I started cleaning it up when he decided to make another clean up area. So Trent then moved him and as he started to walk behind me he blew chunks again but this time all over me and down my back. LOVELY! I didn't make a scene, I didn't yell at my handsome husband who looked at me in terror. I said "how about you finish this, I'm going to the bathroom." I then washed my shirt in the sink with soap and water wrung it out the best I could put it back on and finished lunch with my family. I think that deserved one!
4. When you look in the mirror what do you see first? I see my eyes, whether it's yahoo you can do this or oh no not another day like this I think I tell myself with my eyes.
5. If you could change anything about you what would it be? No far! Gosh, what would I keep? Lol, no body wise my flabby belly, character wise, my yelling.
6. If you had to pick one book that shaped your thinking what would it be? I would have to say "The Book of Mormon" because that's what I constantly think about. That's why I'm here, it's what makes me so passionate about my kids and family and I will do anything necessary to uphold and continue it's legacy.
7. What is your dream job? Hahaha my mom is going to laugh, but to be a pet store owner. I've always loved animals of all kinds, but as a mother myself you don't want them at your house so that would be perfect and then you keep getting the cute new ones in all the time.
8. If you could live anywhere where would it be? You know I think almost anywhere would be great, as long as I had my family I would be good, but big cities are not my favorite.

So there you go, did you learn anything new? I will not torture anyone else by tagging them (still love you Erin!) but it was fun!

Hold On To Your Seat!!

Well this is kind of how we feel. Super excited and scared at the same time. Like when Chad was going to be born excited for him to come but scared of the unknown. Our contract is in and they start digging for our house today!

This is what it will look like from all angles.

This is the floor plan, with a few of Trent's highlights...lol.

And the unfinished basement.

This is the lot we picked.

This is the family making sure our decision was the best, which it was! (of course...lol) Everyone was in agreement.

This is just a picture of what to expect in the future since we wont have neighbors on our left anywhere from 2-5 years. So the boys will be able to build their creations and play in the dirt over there.

This is the view straight in front of the house.

And the view a little to the right, it's awesome to see the buttes. Well this picture it's still kind of hard to see them with the haze. I will try to keep the update going of the construction and where we are at, they want to have us in by Christmas!

Success!

Yes! He made it off the bus this time. I think it helped that his good friend was with him today.

Another success is we finally have Kylie in her crib now instead of the bassinet. She loves it, which means we are super happy.
And Great Grandpa Murray needed to get a stump out of his yard, so he let the boys "help".
They were so happy to be able to ride on the "tractor", it was "the bestest thing ever!"
Ta Da! Stump out! Another success!

1st Day Of School Second Half

So Brian was pretty upset when he woke up and Chad was gone. He kept looking out the window and saying "Chad come back!" So sad and cute at the same time. Anyway here we are waiting for the bus to come back.

The Bus is coming!

Well the bus came, and no Chad was on it. The bus driver had no clue if he got on or not, and so he was asking kids which said he got off the last stop which is 4 or 5 blocks away. This picture is zoomed in can you see him?

And there he is! Oh my Heavens!!!! I asked why he got off early, and not wait to see me. So he said he made a friend and that's where his friend got off so he did too, but that his friend went the other way and he knew where his house was so he came this way. (glad we go on walks and he knows the area, but seriously! I was having a heart attack!)
He had a great day and pizza for lunch!!! He also colored a gingerbread man, and said one came to visit his class and was leaving notes all over and left his class gingerbread cookies!!! "Yup, it was a good day".
