Christmas 2008

This is how we started the day, we ate cute Christmas pancakes, well everyone but Chad did, he was to excited to open presents. The night before he was singing "Back rake, back rake, Santa's going to bring me a back rake"(to the spider man tune). Then Christmas morning we heard him singing Santa, Santa, Santa over and over again.

Opening presents, Chad really liked this gun he got but he has to pull really hard, but he does it, and loves it. He also loves a little house that he can carry his cars around in and takes them everywhere.

Grandpa is showing him how it's done...lol.

Brian loves the little piano in front of him that Santa brought. It was fun to watch Brian he loved all his presents, he would smile hug and love them and then we would try putting another in front of him and eventually coaxes him to open it.
Maybe grandpa got the gun more for himself...haha..no even Brian took turns with the gun.

This is now the new favorite TV watching center, the kids absolutely love to play in it and take turns very well it's amazing!

Well hope everyone had a Merry Christmas we did, and we are very blessed! We love you all!

Do Not Disturb

This is a regular occurrence I just think it's so funny Chad never fell asleep eating but Brian does it all the time. So funny.

This is just a picture of our icicles, well the biggest one, it has since gotten bigger and I need to take another picture, we have tons of icicles some of which we HAD to knock down because they were right over our door...very scary.

Snowmobile Time

Of course Chad loved rides on the snowmobile and would go with anyone that would take him. Tyler was the lucky one this time.

Brian loved it too, he would cry and throw a tantrum when you took him off, it was really quite funny.

All of us going for a ride.

Chad found his next victim, looks like lots of fun!
Anyway it was tons of fun and not to cold either. We thought we got a lot of snow but yesterday it dumped on us. We shoveled a lot, poor Trent shoveled here at work and shoveled himself and others out of the snow after getting stuck in the snow. When we woke up today and saw another 3 inches, after shoveling like 2 feet yesterday, we were not excited. Trent started singing.."I'm dreaming of a GREEN Christmas", haha. Really we like the white just not this much at a time.

Snow!

So we got some snow, quite a bit actually so when we went to visit Great Grandma Murray we decided to play in the snow. Brian's first snow experiences were good, he loved to sled. He did have to walk a little slower than usual because of so much padding, but it didn't keep him out of anything.

Happy kid with his daddy.

See very happy Brian with Heidi, bundled and ready.

This is actually Chad getting on Heidi's back to sled down the hill.

A Few Things

This is the day I went crazy. I put up the Christmas tree and wrapped presents, and my boys "tried" to be good helpers. I had one mess after another, not including my own. However it is harder keeping the cat out of the tree instead of the kids.

This is pirate Chad, with his telescope, water and tractor, silly guy.

Trent's aunt Jolene has been going through some of her stuff and gave us this wonderful toy box. This was right when we got it, however once they learned about it opening up, we can't keep their bodies out and the toys in...haha, they love it.

Santa Skates To

Well Santa came to the skating party and Chad asked for a "back rake" he said he wanted it so scratch his back because it was itching, so I do believe it's a back scratcher he wants.

This is all Brian did he just stared at Santa then gave him a smile and wanted down.

Brian showing me his great present he got from Santa, which he kindly shared all over his face, hands, coat, my coat, and anything else he could touch. What a happy boy.

Skating Party

Well Tuesday was Grandpa and Grandma's Rawson's ward skating party. Chad did really good skating, he was more like walking but you have to start somewhere.

This is Chad first fall, and after seeing his brother drive, Brian decided it was his turn, he would laugh and push buttons and try to honk the horn, he had a blast.

This is Chad again and this is his last and final crash, this one hurt his bum "really really bad". We tried to tell him he was ok but he was "not ok!!" So that ended the skating expedition this time. We would have put Brian in skates but they don't have them small enough, so maybe next year.
