Simplot Games

Grandpa Rawson volunteered at the Simplot Games last week and weekend, so we decided to go see him when he finally got a little break. Trent decided we need to go all out and get popcorn for the party.
The boys loved it. They watched the races and were really excited.
All the stars that came out to the games this year.
We even got to see Trent's cousin Heidi. Her team qualified so she was running today.
The kids were excited for the bracelets they got.
They had different levels to set them to flash, flash slow, flash fast, or just stay on.
Everyone in the parade had them going, it was neat to see all the flashing lights.
They also had fireworks INSIDE the mini dome. The kids were completely mesmerized.
Then the favorite part of all. The Mission Impossible song came on and these guys threw down their ropes from the top of the mini dome and started to repel down.
This is where we had to leave. We had our Stake Temple night, so we needed to head out. Once we got in the car and said grandma was going to watch them Brian yelled "This is the best day EVER!!", with a little fist pump. Lol, glad my kids had fun!

Little Girl

Kylie was so excited to see 2 new visitors, and insisted I take a picture. I have never seen these cats before, and their best friend was a little Scottie dog that they followed around it was pretty cute.
 Just watching a cartoon.
Then daddy jumps by her. This girl LOVES her daddy.
Oh daddy, this little girl is going to grow up, then what?....lol

Valentine's Day 2013

This was the sunset the night before, it was beautiful the picture doesn't do it any justice. The colors were so bright and just gorgeous.
So Trent decided he wanted to do something for his team at work. He wanted to give them single roses, but guess what, NO single roses anywhere! So as I was searching for them I found these cute packs of chocolate and thought, well I got something...lol. I looked on Pinterest for a cute idea to go with them, and found NOTHING!!! Pinterest had failed me! Nothing about chocolate, nothing! Did I mention nothing, so ya I googled sayings, quotes, cute ideas and many more things...lol and still got NOTHING! So I said ok, I can be creative all by myself (sweating and stressing now). So this is what I came up with...LOL..I know it's a stretch but hey it works!!
Happy Va"lindt"ines Day!
Then as I was printing out my labels as you see I ran out of red ink after the first 2, ugh...lol. So I printed the rest yellow, who cares, they are done!!
I saw this idea on Pinterest and it was totally me and I had to do it for Trent. So I did get my creative juices flowing for this. It was super fun and I was so excited to give it him!
 A sample page.
Then I went to Chad's class. The teacher told me just to do something little before and then the rest of the time the kids would exchange Valentines. So this is what I did, I handed each kid a paper plate and a pencil, told them to put the paper plate on their head and then I began saying. Draw a line for the floor, draw a heart, draw 2 legs.....you get it. This is what it was suppose to look like...hahaha.
This was my attempt, last night.
Trent did really good I thought, wow he is a talented head drawer. The 2 squiggles (upper left and bottom right) were already on the page before he began.
This is what some of the best looking ones in Chad's class did..lol. They drew the little guy after to show what it should have looked like to take home and show their parents.
It was fun, especially the moment when I said you're done and they take it off their heads and look at what they drew, hahaha. Lots of laughs!
Candy, candy, candy, they will be up all night.
Happy Valentines Day!!! Hope it's a good one!

Dance and Stuff

Trent invited me to go to February Fantasy. The tickets were $40 each so luckily he got them for free.
It was a formal event so my mom whipped me up a dress and off we went. My favorite part was to dance with my husband who never wants to dance.
In other news...this is what I find when I go through pockets before I do laundry. Incredible what kids can fit into their tiny pockets...lol.
Kylie styling her new necklace. I should have put her hair in a pony tail on the top of her head, she'd be the cutest Pebbles ever!
We love to brush our teeth, even in our sleep.
 My handsome husband!
Just a cute picture of Chad and Kylie before church.

Pinterest Trials

Yes, I have been looking at pinterest again. I have seen these "cat eyes" or the "flick" and thought that would be cute but can I pull it off? So I did it, tell me what you think. I did little thin flicks...lol, I was to scared to go big.
Here you can see the flick a little better.
I went and did errands, and no one looked at me strange, and I got complemented, so I might try it out more often.
Now to Kylie. This little girl loves to have "pretty's" in her hair and her hair being pretty. If any of you know me very well, I don't do this!! Just wear bed head or pull it up, who cares...lol. Well she does....
so, I was a good mom and found things to do. Her hair needs to grow a little more, for her uncoordinated mom...lol.
She asked for me to do it again today, yesterday I did the "Mouse Blog" hair style (look at previous blog). She was posing and acting all girly yesterday because of her pretty hair...lol.
She loves her hair done. I repeat, this does not come from my genes, hahaha.
Brian wanted to take a picture of both of us together, he does good being a photographer. Anyway Happy Pinning, more to come...lol.

Mouse!!

I stepped away from my cheese and when I came back this is what I found. I knew immediately that I had a mouse!
This is what happened when I caught my mouse.
I told my mouse it was okay, and that I would cut her some more cheese.
