Hanging Out

Just sitting around talking was a lot of fun since the first couple of days we were there every construction thing possible was happening and made it difficult to leave the culda-sac. They were building houses down the street and around the corner and wow I have never seen so much going on all at the same time.
However, we did venture out one night when it started to rain. Me and my dad were amazed how the lighting never really stopped and neither did the thunder it was always rumbling. By the time we went to get into the car it was a down pour. Streets already started to flood by the time we made it to Wal-Mart which is only 5-10 minutes away.
After we left Wal-Mart the streets were flooded. We had to go on alternate routes because of it. One street even had a stalled out victim on it, but we made it home safely and had a great adventure.
Grandpa saw a toad in his window well one morning and went out to catch it for the kids to see.
My kids loved him and he even croaked a little to, he was pretty fun.
Hurray for Grandpa's that give into little girls pleas, they had so much fun.
This was one of the favorite pass times. However, throwing rocks into the pond became dangerous (hitting each other with them on accident) and to costly (rocks are a rare commodity and have to be purchased), with 6 kids not following the rules of one rock at a time we had to stop the madness...lol.
The famous buffalo at the Fargo mall, we had to get a picture because flat Stanley did..hahaha.
