Carousels

Saturday, Grandpa and Grandma Rawson took us all to the Carousels exhibit.

 The kids were all excited because they were told they got to ride an old carousel.

 They got to ride the carousel first and then we learned all about them.

 Here they each got a change to turn one by hand. Pictures where a little tricky since no flash was allowed and everything was in poor lighting. Thank goodness grandpa adjusted our cameras!

 There where so many different horses and animals, it was very neat.

 Kylie's favorite person today was Amy, she was stuck like glue.

 This was the "old times" portion of the museum, it was interesting. The kids asked lots of questions because they didn't know what most of the things were, so it was a good learning experience.

 After seeing all the different kinds of carousels, we went to the Discovery Center. Chad's favorite place because everywhere else you could not touch and in here it was very hands on.

 Kylie dressed up like a little pioneer girl.

 Going through tunnels, and finding animals at every turn.

 Dress up time and playing in the Tee Pees.

 My handsome boy that did not want his picture taken...and a very happy Kylie.

 Then the kids got to ride the carousel again, which they all loved the first time and so they were super excited for the second time.

 Chad had a blast!

 Kylie absolutely LOVED it.

 The people that ran the carousel said she won the award for the BEST SMILE.

 Everyone was smiling the whole time!

 Mr. Brian was grinning ear to ear.

 Having so much fun.

We couldn't help but laugh and smile with them. 

 Grandpa was upstairs when the second time happened and got the top view of the happiness going on.

 Outside the museum the kids saw the bell.

 So they rang it, then off we went to have Reed's dairy ice cream! Then back home to celebrate Grandma's birthday with everyones favorite Mandarin house. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma it was the "best day ever"!
