Our Fun Friday

A children's song writer (Jerry Gill) came into town from Chicago. We decided it would be a fun night for the kids so we went.
 They had so much fun.
They we smiling and laughing the whole time.
The whole crowd was into it. I don't think anyone sat still.
Grandma helping Kylie with the actions.
 Chad and Grandpa singing.
Well after the fun singing and dancing time we crashed (well they told us we could) the Institute Closing Social Party. The kids were so happy, we got hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks, cotton candy, and snow cones.
Chad was bugging us the whole time because he wanted to do all the fun activities too. They had rock climbing, volleyball, Frisbee 500, and one of those bouncy things that 2 people have to pull against each other. Well, we had to draw the line somewhere so we told him it wasn't his party so he could not participate in the games. Then Chad disappeared.
Me and Trent looked everywhere in all the games and could not find him. Just as you start getting that panicky feeling of my child is GONE! I saw him....yup helping out at the snow cone line. What kid, who has been bagging all night to play the games goes to do service? Mine! He was so happy in his job and the woman said he really was helping her a lot. We joked that we sent him to work to pay for our meal, he laughed and said that it was okay because it was fun. Moments like these make a mom proud of her son, love him so much and his good little heart.
To end the night we went out for ice cream. Grandpa and Grandma told us of the new place in Chubbuck that serves Reed's dairy ice cream so that's were we went. It really was a FUN FRIDAY!
